Spencer Tunick (New York 1967) is a contemporary artist, known for his colossal group nude photographs and human landscapes, worldwide.
Since 1994, Tunick has organized more than 75 installations all over the world, managing to integrate the nude as another element of the natural or urban landscape, creating impressive, timeless images of an absolutely stunning visual beauty. In 2007, in his installation in the Zócalo in Mexico City, more than 18,000 nude volunteers posed for his camera, the highest number he ever recorded. That same year, Tunick worked with 600 nude people to create a living sculpture on the Aletsch glacier, with the support of Greenpeace, to raise awareness of climate change in the Swiss Alps.
Tunick's live installations have been commissioned by Biennial de São Paulo (Brazil, 2002); Institut Cultura (Barcelona, 2003); The Saatchi Gallery (London, 2003); MOCA (Cleveland, 2004); Vienna Kunsthalle (Vienna, 2008) and MAMBO Museum of Modern Art (Bogotá, 2016), among others.
In 1925, Cervezas Alhambra was born in Granada. 100 years later, Alhambra Reserva 1925 is a beer that presents itself naked and without labels.
To celebrate this first century of history, Alhambra pays tribute to the author's creation, to culture, to art. To its origin, Andalusia. And to the characteristic green of its iconic naked bottle. A green that evokes the Spanish olive grove, purity and the hope of celebrating another 100 years. Through a unique, timeless and unrepeatable image... An image that only Spencer Tunick could create.
